New Year New You

It’s the new year and with the new years comes resolutions. Most of us make the resolution to lose weight and to start working out. These are always great goals, but I want to make sure you achieve those goals. One way to start losing weight is to detox your liver. One awesome way to do that is to add milk thistle to your green smoothie. Adding this to your greens will help your body be able to detox faster. The better our bodies process and excrete toxins the easier it is to lose weight. It has been shown through research to be a powerful agent to help the liver detox and be healthier.

  • “It’s regularly used as a complementary therapy by people who have liver damage due to conditions like alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, hepatitis and even liver cancer.”
  • “The silymarin extracted from milk thistle is known to have antioxidant, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.”

This amazing plant is just one of many things you can add to your arsenal of healthy things in 2022. Remember that there is no magic bullet to health, and we always need to eat the right things, move every day, and manage our stress to be healthy.

Enjoy your smoothie!!!
