Chiropractor Teaches Heart Health Through Nutrition
What if I told you that you don’t have to take medication in order to prevent heart disease? Taking a pill seems pretty easy to do and a lot “easier” to do when it comes to managing anything in life. Don’t you think it’s strange that we have a pill for almost every symptom? Well, I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to always turn to medications to help with things that are not regulating in your body correctly. Cardiovascular prevention has been linked to eating and having a healthy lifestyle. Apples in fact, have been shown to help reduce heart disease because of the enriched nutrients it has. They are rick with vitamin C, and k which are loaded with antioxidants. These are the chemicals that help fight off inflammation. This simple green smoothie that we make is quick and easy and most importantly very healthy. Just making one a day can help with so many other things. Such as, more energy, immune booster, weight loss and the list goes on. Our body needs good fuel in order for it to function the way it needs to function. If we put bad food into our diets we will see inflammation take place. Inflammation does not always mean pain, it can mean you’re inflaming the gut bacteria which makes it a lot harder for the body to fight off diseases when they approach. This is why it’s important to put your green smoothie into your daily diet to help reduce the affects of inflammation on our bodies and help fight off viruses or even cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol. Here is some information about the health benefits of apples and what they have to offer.
“Apples are an important contributor to the intake of dietary components linked with cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention. Apples have been shown to have beneficial effects on vascular function, blood pressure, lipids, inflammation and hyperglycaemia.”
