McKinney Chiropractor Presents:
Best Green Drink with Antioxidants!
Video by Dr. Daniel Hartwell
Green drinks are the best way to start your day or even for a little snack. You can have a green drink as part of breakfast, a quick lunch, or even as an after dinner snack (one of my favorite ways to have it). I love that there are thousands of ways you can make green drinks as well. As long as the main ingredient is a healthy, green vegetable, you can mix plenty of other fruits and vegetables with it in-order to maximize the nutrient content of your drink. For this first recipe, I wanted to make it quick, simple, and delicious. Hence my use of only 3 main ingredients: Spinach, mango, and green apple. I also added in one of our Innate Choice Probiotic capsules to make sure we’re all keeping that gut bacteria healthy. Many times this is the easiest way for me to remember to take my essential nutrients. I love the mango not only for its flavor but also for its high content of nutrients. Though there are so many positive nutritional aspects of mangos, one I want to focus on is antioxidants. These antioxidants help fight damage that can be caused by highly reactive free radicals, which if left in high levels, can lead to aging effects and disease. The elimination of free radicals through high antioxidant levels is thought to be an effective way of preventing chronic inflammation and chronic diseases. Get up and mango-go on your path to a healthier life with this Best Green Drink with Antioxidants!
